Nakertrans Agency Issues Circular Regarding Payment of THR

Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency Head Andri Yansyah, issued a circular letter number 37/SE/2020, concerning the Implementation of 2020 Religious THR Payment.

Postponement of THR payment is no later than December 2020

In the letter, the company is obliged to pay the annual holiday bonus (THR) to workers/laborers in accordance with legislation.

"Reporting on the Religious THR payment made by the company can be through bit.ly/laporanthr2020," he said, Monday (5/18).

He explained as many as 166 companies in Jakarta made THR payment reports for their employees to his agency.

"There are a number of THR payment model options due to COVID-19 pandemic, that is, paid in full, gradually or postponed," he told.

For deliberations, companies generally postpone or pay employees' THR. If it is paid in full, deliberation is not needed and only reports if the company has done payment in accordance with the provisions.

"Postponement of THR payment is no later than December 2020. If it's past the deadline, we have administrative sanctions ranging from a reprimand that is license revocation recommendation to the closure of the operation. THR must be paid," he asserted.

He went on to say that the reporting company was a company that had a dialogue with workers/laborers in the company and both parties had agreed on the procedure for payment of the Religious THR in 2020 according to the mechanism in the Manpower Minister's Circular letter number M/6/HI. 00.01/2020.

"The incoming report comes from a company that has agreed and has an agreement that he has the ability to pay the employee's THR in full, installments or there is deadline," he explained.
